Im 32 work a full time job trying to make ends meet  hopeing the the next check will cover the bills. my fiance stays home and takes care of the kids we have 3 great children that most of our time goes to seems like as soon as we get cought up something else jumps in our path right now its christmas and heat its going to cost us around $800 for about 2 months of LP to heat our house so we where trying to look into wood heat the cost is greatly cut for us if we can go that way but still a cost of a little more then $1000 just to get it in and going so now we are useing a Infrad heater to heat the house and covering up good at night to stay warm but its working when it starts getting colder we are going to be hurting we never really ask for much just try to make it this year is getting to where we are not sure if we are going to make it or not just looking for what help is out there.

My car recently broke down and I had to use my rent money for repairs.  I'm $550.00 behind in my rent and I need help before things get out of control.  I have tried charities but you have to have an evicition notice.  It would be great to get help before I am out on the streets.  With the car repairs and the high heating and electrical costs (which I'm behind in) it is hard to dig out of a mess.  Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Hello, Im amiee I have a 4 and 5 year old...Usually too stubborn to ask for help but my financial situation has me about to dig a hole and stay there. I can't even get the basic necessities I need not to mention my electric is about to be disconnected. I don't know how I'm going to pay for my next heat payment. I have so many things happen I wasn't ready for this. My car needs fixed can't afford it...so many things. If anyone can find it in there heart to help me out I will pass my kindness along. The reason for my struggle is because working full-time work and full time school don't do well together...so for now I have to struggle I start school In may (fingers crossed). Well have to. Hi I am disabled and don't normally get down, but lately things have been adding up. My gas bill is $750, my electric is $700 and this is just tip of iceburg. I owe several thousand on the things I needed to remodel to accomodate my disability. Sadly I have no money to buy presents for christmas. There are nine people I buy for-but unless I can raise $150 I can't buy any presents. I hope some of you can spare one dollar or a few to help with Christmas and heating bills. Hello, I lost my husband last year, October 4th due to a heart attack. He was 51 years old. It was completely unexpected and left me in trouble financially. Our home was in the middle of a complete remodel in which I have little expertise. I have a disability that is keeping me from immediate employment although I am working towards the goal of employment with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation at this time. I am concerned with my ability or lack of to continue affording the mortgage and keeping my home. I also am concerned with whether I will be able to sell my home if I have to because of the state of disrepair my home is in as well as the rural location I live in. Not many buyers seek out this area to reside. This home needs flooring installed in all rooms as well as plumbing work and serious updating in the kitchen. At this time I don't have a vanity with sink in the bathroom, so I must brush my teeth and wash my face over the bathtub. My home has single pane aluminum framed windows and 2 double pane windows with broken seals, so none are energy efficient and the house is difficult to keep warm. Add the fact that there is no flooring, I ran the heating bill up last year trying to keep warm. I think you probably get the picture so I will leave it at this, is there anyone out there who might be able to help me? Ginger

Hello all-

     A note for those of greater financial means and wisdom/insight for developing areas in need of development..Within the foothills of Denver, Colorado lies the community of Conifer. The main road which goes through this community is state highway 285.

     Development of the are involve a medical center (a branch of the Rose medical center), a Safeway, A King Soopers, a Staples office supply, an Ace hardware and a few other shops alongside of each larger store.

     The problem is this...along with the stores didn't come essential public services for bordering communities. Plumbing and heating services weren't added by the city of Conifer during the construction of said stores.

     Perhaps financial assistance is the culprit in this case? With the present economic climate and the uncertainty of the financial system, perhaps there are those who have the means for improving the present living conditions of the residents of Conifer?

     A resident of Conifer is reaching out to those who can grasp this opportunity and do the right thing...

   Does anyone know where to get heating assistance? My wife is disabled and the increase in heating gas set us back. In one month our gas bill was more than our rent. We do not qualify for the local heating assistance. The gas company can not shut us off for at least another month, but I don't see how we can prevent it. If any one has information on this matter would be sincerly appreciated.
